A little background: When I asked Toni how she got started, she told me art had always played an influential role in her life. Both her mother and grandmother were artists and after she followed the traditional college route, she had the privilege to attend design school in Atlanta, which enhanced her knowledge and passion for home design. Fast forward to years in the corporate world of finance and marketing and she was presented with the opportunity to pursue her love for design full-time. For the past five years, Toni has primarily focused on art, which allows her the freedom to fulfill her greatest passion, spending her days with her granddaughters. She mentioned sharing her love of art with them and the joy she gets from seeing their creativity grow more each day.
So here is a little bit about how I came to select my painting design: When Toni reached out to talk about a custom canvas, I instantly knew I wanted her to paint our home.. to remember how it looks when the flowers are blooming, the trees are lush and green, and the yellow exterior of our brick exudes “happy”. The process was extremely easy… I took a few snapshots of the front of our house, emailed them to Toni, and she was on her way. She even took the time to ask if I had any special requests regarding colors, additional landscaping, seasonal preference, etc. Interestingly enough, she said she has done everything from changing the paint color of a house to painting a complete landscaping plan! Ready for the final reveal??
It’s stunning, right? It amazed me how she was able to capture every detail from the pictures I sent her and I am honored to have one of Toni’s beautiful works in our home. Even better, I was able to collaborate with my friends at Framebridge, which is a one-stop shop for all your custom framing needs. Their process is fool-proof: you pick the style of frame you want, they mail you a package to ship your portrait/canvas/etc back, and then voila, your custom framed masterpiece is delivered within weeks.
I found this site to be far less expensive than options I’ve used and the quality was just as good, if not better. I opted for the Mandalay Gold Bamboo Frame and LOVE it.
As always, I want to thank both Toni and Framebridge for partnering with me on this post. It was a pleasure to work together on this feature and it is a keepsake I will forever treasure.
