November 11, 2010

I’ve been on the hunt for some turkey-riffic {can’t believe I just made that word up} recipes to share for all of your upcoming Thanksgiving menus–it’s 2 weeks from today, can you tell I’m counting dowen?? Some of these I have tried, and some are newbies I can’t wait to attempt, but they all seem relatively easy–a prerequisite for making it on my recipe roll–and I’m thinking you may want to try some, too!!

Thanks sooo much for this. I have been trying to figure out what to take to my Grandma's for Thanksgiving. I usually carry all the desserts and my mom makes a couple of sides (which means I find recipes and she makes them..lol). It's hard because our family is soo big and all of the basics, like the dressing, beans, sweet potatoes, corn, etc. are already made by the other members in the family. We have to find "different" yummy stuff. I know for a fact I want to try choc. chop cheesecake this year and that one sounds yummy. I am trying to decide whether I want to make my red velvet cake or a key lime cake or both.

  5. mixed girl says:

torture! I am actually dreading this holiday! One normal helping is all I'm allowing myself to have! I don't want to gain any weight or have to punish myself at the gym the next day!

  10. Julia says:
