Ingredients for your Sausage and Rosemary Casserole

  • 1 pound sausage [I use Tennessee Pride Sage variety]
  • 1 package crescent sheet dough
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 2 tsp rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Directions to Make the Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Place a skillet over medium heat and add sausage… break up the sausage as it cooks, letting it brown completely
  3. Unroll crescent dough and spread out in the bottom of a 9×13 pan and then spread the sausage over the dough and then top with cheddar cheese
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk eggs with the milk, rosemary, salt, and pepper… then pour egg mixture over the top of the casserole
  5. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden and the eggs are set
