Life with Tucker

April 20, 2021

Well hello there Monday!!! Nice to see you again. I am easing the blow of another crazy start to the week with some happiness by way of the cutest furball to ever exist, also known as Tucker. It’s been a bit since I’ve done a proper check-in on our teacup goldendoodle from Blue Ridge Golden Doodles and it’s safe to say we are all equally obsessed with our baby–and yes, he’s 1.5 years old now, but still a “puppy” in this mama’s eyes.

I’ve officially turned into that crazy dog mom I never thought I’d be… endless treats, cuddling with him at night [sorry Jeff!], and talking in that baby voice–like truly who am I?!?!– but Tucker has been the best addition to our family and we can’t imagine life without our best little bud. So I thought it would be fun to share 5 different dog brands we shop on the regular! An all new ‘5 things’ installment, this time for the puppy love:

MY FAVORITE DOG SHOPS

ONE. The Foggy Dog

The ONLY company I buy collars, leashes and waste bag holders from… yep, simply put I’m hooked. When we first got Tucker, I noticed how difficult it was trying to find cute BOY dog collars and this has been my go-to ever since I got my first order in the mail. I LOVE that each collar has gold hardware [not black like most out there] and the designs are absolutely ADORABLE [check out the confetti one I just grabbed]… yes, I switch his every few months depending on the season, but he’s got quite the collection I assure you and I love that their products are crated in the USA! They also recently came out with petite leashes for smaller dogs in a handful of colorways and they are SO good! Also, sign up for their emails and you’ll get 15% off orders and sale updates, too.

TWO. Bark Box

If you told me I’d be the dog mom who subscribes to monthly deliveries for my four-legged best friend, I would have told you HELL TO THE NO. Well, hell has frozen over and I am SO that person who thinks Tucker is quite deserving of his monthly treat time by way of Bark Box. For just $25 a month, he gets a curated box of goodies with a theme [can you handle the cuteness?!?] so I went ahead and signed up for my 6-month subscription and didn’t think twice about it. I added up how much I was spending on random treats at the grocery store and Target, so I am hopeful this will help keep me on budget for my little buddy AND he gets his very own happy mail. P.S. this month I chose the fairground theme and it is the cutest thing EVER.

THREE. Chewy.Com

Basically Amazon for pets… anything and everything you need [and the stuff you can’t help but add to cart] delivered to your door! They have a convenient auto-ship program where you can get your flea + tick medicine as well as heartworm pills so you don’t ever miss their monthly nibble tablet. It’s also where I buy this Nature’s Miracle Stain Remover that gets anything and everything out of the carpet when someone has a random accident.

FOUR. Henry Clean

Truth… my dog HATES to be brushed. Hence why he usually has to go short when our groomer comes to pay us a visit, BUT I recently discovered this spritz sray and I love it… keeps him clean and smelling oh so fresh in between grooming visits while also helping keep his hair healthy and shiny. This is a chore the girls don’t mind helping with either–just spray into coat from 6 inches away and brush in!

FIVE. Huck and Harlowe

Finally, the cutest little pet shoppe in all of 30a is this newish find in Rosemary Beach. They opened last fall and of course I’ve become an addicted shopper ever since! A few favorites that we’ve purchased and love include the Drippy Dry Microfiber Towel + Calming Bites Tin.

So, if you’ve made it this far I would LOVE to hear your best shops for shopping for your four-legged furry friends… always one to shop small + support local and I know there are tons of other incredible brands out there I just HAVE to know about!!
