Well hey hey hey friends… an all new Friday Five is back this week and I am sharing a few finds from my bunco group’s favorite things get together! It’s like Oprah’s famous list, but real life “game changers” we all swear by! We try and do this a few times a year so it’s always fun to see what everyone comes up with… sometimes a random hodge podge assortment, but that’s when the good stuff comes out! All kinds of little happies that make life easier/better/etc.
The Friday Five Favorite Things Edition
ONE. Makeup, Skincare and Beauty
LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask | $13, hands down my go-to lip treatment for ultra moisture to your pout… I’ve used it for months and now a few others in my friend group are loving it too!
Makeup Eraser | $20, removes all makeup with JUST water–no need to use a separate makeup remover. Sounds pretty legit to me and my friend Lauren swears by it so I am going to give this a try!
BECCA Anti-Fatigue Under Eye Primer | $32, I recommended this to my bestie a few months ago, and she has since fallen in love with it as well–the best way to camouflage under eye circles and lines that pop up when you apply your makeup.
CeraVe Moisturizing Cream | $14, my girl Chrissy says this is THE best body moisturizer in town… so great she uses it on her kids as well.
ASEA Renu Skin Gel | $30, Andrea is the eptiome of our beauty guru and always trying to find the holy grail of great skincare… she says this totally takes away fine lines and wrinkles and giver her skin that dewy glow
Boscia Rosewater Mist | $24, Another Andrea find, this spritz makes a great toner that absorbs oils on your face, and soothes for a more even complexion
TWO. All Things Home + Kitchen
Blick Arts Contour Floater Frames | Our friend/incredible artist Kelly Terrell told us this is her go-to destination for finding artist-quality frames for your treasured prints and canvases. I cannot get over the price of their acrylic frames = heck yes for this home run!
Luxury Hotel Sheet Set | $19 for a king set of sheets… I’ve seen these all over the internet and Meg said they are hands down incredible for the price. Super soft and well made, I just added these to my Amazon cart!
3M Patch Plus Primer 4 in 1 | $6, Apparently this saves the day when you try to create a gallery wall and gave a few holes and patches to fix!
Pancake Pen | $10, so good you’ll want two! The easiest and least messy way to make pancake shapes, cut-outs/dishwasher safe for the win and get ready to wow your kiddos.
Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Brownie Mix | $2, when my girl Libby recommends something in the food department, I ALWAYS take note! This mix tastes better than homemade and it is TO DIE FOR good!
Kitchen Hack–How to Shuck Corn | Another helpful tidbit from Libby, I need to try this the next time we grill corn on the cob… soak the corn in the husks for 3o minutes, grill for 30 minutes and then shuck using this video reference. Another soak the corn for 30 minutes in the husks, grill for 30 minutes and then this is the easiest trick to shuck corn.
THREE. Fashion Finds
Everything Mae | I introduced this brand to my friend Chrissy a few months ago and she’s become just as addicted as I have to this Amazon-exclusive brand. From swimwear to bralettes, undies, pajamas and loungewear, it’s all extremely budget friendly, soft and great to gift, too. Our favs include the Trim TShirt and Short Set, Racerback Tank and PJ Pants, and the Everyday Bralette.
Colorfulkoala ⅞ Yoga Pants | $25, yoga pants for us petite girls… side pocket for phone and/or wallet storage, breathable material, and plenty of Spandex. I cannot wait to try these myself.
State and Liberty | Let’s hear it for the boys, a new-to-me brand for the hubbies to check out… Megan says these are the best non-iron shirts out there with an athletic fit–just be sure to size up!
Roller Rabbit Women’s Pajama’s | Oh so soft and the chicest prints around, Jocelyn definitely knows her sleepwear and if they are good enough for her, I know I’m going to love them too. They even offer matching mommy and me options!!
Goodr Sunglasses | $25, Affordable sunglasses that don’t cost an arm and a leg, Candice loves these for lake days–fun lens options and colorful frames, I think Jeff is going to get some of these in his stocking this Christmas!
FOUR. Random Goodies, Gifts + Events
Spotify Radio | $9/month, Libby and I both love the premium version of Spotify = subscribe to playlists, create your own and never have to pay for music via iTunes again. You can also download the playlists so you can play when you’re in the air, without wifi, etc.
Loopy Phone Cases | $39 + 10% off W/My Code HAPPY10, the only phone case I’ll use and I converted my friend Andrea as well. They just came out with a ton of new fall designs and options with the famous super loop!
4 Things Tote | $39, Another fav find from a ton of us, is this customizable tote from The Shop Forward. A great way to gift to friends and loved ones and a portion of the proceeds goes back to Espwa, a Haiti non-profit for expectant moms.
Popsocket Wallet | $7, Two friends gave their praise for this wallet wonder. An easy essential to add to your phone case that allows you to carry your driver’s license and credit card for easy access!
OVenture ID Case | $25, Looking for something a bit bigger, this clips onto your OVenture key-ring [another gift I LOVE to give to others] so you’re hands free and have everything you need!
Budha Girl Bracelets | $65, I have fallen in love with these all weather, TSA approved bangles and the fact that they help me keep my priorities in order is icing on the cake. So many colors and styles, all with the mantra to encourage you to think of the serenity prayer through your days.
Songwriters Under the Stars at Cheekwood | Jocelyn says this is her favorite Nashville date night activity and I love the idea behind this event! Held two times per year, it’s an outdoor concert which features famous songwriters playing some of the most popular tunes on the radio today. Food trucks are available so you can grab your favorite munchies and you can BYOB, too.
FIVE. BABY + KIDS
Combo Toilet Seat for Kiddos | $38, Goodness I wish I had known about this when we were potty training in our house. So much more efficient and better to look at than a stand alone baby potty.
Young, Wild and Friedman | GENIUS activity kits and sensory boxes for little ones… endless entertainment and great for travel, I think this is absolutely amazing and a great gift idea! You can also opt for subscription services, too.
Nike No Tie/No Velcro Kids Sneakers | Everyday is a PE or playground day for my girls and Megan recommended these fun and colorful slip on shoes! Great for little ladies who want fun and brightly-colored tennis shoes.
Bug Bite Suction Tool | $18, Lindsey SWEARS by this and she is the mom to two boys so I take her advice seriously. This suction tool removes insect venom/saliva, which eliminates swelling and itching by mosquiotes, wasps, chiggers and bees.
100 Days of Less Hustle and More Jesus | $15, a great to read and easy daily devotional when you need to slow down and take note of everything around you… sounds right up my alley!
Let me know if you loved this roundup of random Friday five favorite finds… I know I love first-hand recommendations!! Have a great weekend friends 😉
