I haven’t done this Friday Five in awhile, but since we are slowly getting back into the swing of things now that the kiddos are back in school [can I get an AMEN?!?!], I thought it was the perfect opportunity to get down to business and catch up with some Friday 5 randomness!

FRIDAY FIVE #1: The Billie Razor
I’ve been waiting to post about the Billie razor until I had been using it for a few weeks and could talk about it first-hand, but YES, this razor is hands down better than any other I’ve used AND less expensive as well! For $9, you’ll get the razor, magnetic holder and two razor cartridges… then you complete a short survey which helps decide how often you need replenishments sent you way, and voila–you’re all set.
Finally with this razor I don’t feel like I have to steal the hubby’s razor and my 1st day shave is lasting longer. I’m all about sharing gamechangers with y’all and this one is a HUGE win for me. I love that they offer a ton of color choices as well and this was on my favorite things I shared at bunco this week so if you’ve yet to test it out, get to it friends!!
FRIDAY FIVE #2: Questions to Ask Your Kids
My friend Kelly shared this the other night and I thought it was genius! If your little ones are like mine, it’s hard to get them to talk about their day at school, what they learned, etc and she showed us this list of “50 Questions to Get Your Kids Talking” and I loved it SO much I wanted to share here as well. I’m trying to get the DETAILS out of them and I’ve already been using it for a few days and I’m getting actual, relevant info from Caroline and Carson. Anything to help make parenting easier, right???
A few of my favs include: What made you smile today? What did you do that was creative? What do you know today that you didn’t know yesterday? If you were a teacher tomorrow, what would you teach? What was the hardest rule to follow today?
FRIDAY FIVE #3: Date Night at STK
Last week we went on a much-needed date night downtown and hit up STK Nashville. Holy moly, goodness overload.. it exceeded all my expectations in terms of food and drink and we will certainly be back. Not to miss highlights?? The Cucumber Stilletto cocktail, Seafood Platter, Filet Lollipops, Dry-Aged Tomahawk Steak and Lobster Risotto. Our hometown eating scene just keeps getting better and better!!!
FRIDAY FIVE #4: Check-In Time
I shared this image via IG stories a few weeks ago and I have had tons of people sending me DMs asking for me to send them the image. This end of the week check-in is helping me put things into perspective, focus on the good, celebrate the victories and also letting some of my insecurities and setbacks go… a great idea for a weekly affirmation for yourself for a clear mindset and positive outlook ahead!
