Five on Friday… Recent Loves

One. Zebra Pajamas… 
Need i say more?? One of my favorite people (@crystalfaye) posted a picture of a pair of zebra pj pants last week and I immediately commented asking where she found them… of course, I should’ve known… Target to the rescue! Are these not the cutest things ever?? Perfect for springtime lounging around the house and I’m obsessed with all things zebra right now so this feeds that addiction even more. Score!

Two. Mini Blog Revamp 
You may have noticed I’ve had a little work done on the blog recently and I’m thrilled with the simplicity and reorganized way of keeping things straight around here! A brand new custom navigation bar at the top of my blog should make it easy to look for FAQs as well as Favorites and how to contact me for Collaborations and a new About Me page gives you a bit more about me and a look into some things I absolutely love. And to the right you’ll find new labels for categorizing some of the posts you may want to read, including Lifestyle, Family + Children, Fashion + Beauty, Fitness, Food, Projects, and Nashville. Thanks again Aubrey… you always amaze me with your creativity!

Four. I’m Leaning In, Slowly But Surely
I mentioned my most recent read on IG a few weeks ago and I just finised the book “Lean In” by Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook/Google extraordinaire. Honestly, this has been the best business-related book I’ve read in a long time and it’s applicable to so many areas of my life, including work-life balance, holding myself back, helping get ahead in the corporate world, and how we as women are looked at as a mom/wife/business owner/etc. If you’re looking for a WONDERFUL book filled with great tips and tricks and a way to overcome adversity and the things that hold us back, I’m telling you to purchase this ASAP. You’re going to be glad you did! Now I’m on the hunt for my mentor!
