This week, I am taking my Five on Friday to talk about the fabulous and fun Music City Masquerade we went to last week, which was hosted by the Junior League of Nashville. It was too much fun, getting all dressed up, hitting the town with the hubby and our friends, and staying out until 3AM (yes, what in the world is wrong with us??). I have to brag on a few of my friends who were on the committee and were instrumental in making the night a big success…yay to Rachel, Candice, Megan, and Jocelyn-it was AMAZING!
Prom Session
I felt like I was going to prom all over again when Mimi and Pappy took our pictures once we got all dressed up and ready to go…all I needed was a wrist corsage to make it complete…hahaha! My handsome hubby cleans up pretty well when he wants to đ
P.S. I fell in love with the dress when I found it at Nordstrom (BCBG Max Azria Bernadette Gown), however, I didn’t fall in love with the price tag. I got resourceful, trusted the guidance of my friend Jocelyn, and bought the same exact dress off of Ebay for $200. WINNING!!!
Belles of the Ball
We took over the photobooth, danced all night to Scat Springs Band (the same band who played at our wedding!!), and had ourselves a grand old time with our closest friends. I think the boys were up to their usual shenanigans as well.

Recovery Time
Let’s just say Jeff and I learned two things… 3AM bedtime and two children don’t mix well…we paid for it the next day by shamelessly staying in our pajamas all day long, letting the minis run around the house in their yummies, and ordering pizza for dinner. And our second lesson was that we are in fact 30 now and don’t need to act like we’re in college.
Cheers to such a fun and entertaining evening!! And another cheers to the weekend…headed to Knoxville to see friends, attend our niece’s first birthday party, and then back home to work on fulfilling my first orders for Sugar Bit. I hope each of you have a FANTASTIC weekend!

Haha. Same problem here. We went out for my husband's birthday a couple weeks ago and thankfully I was the DD so I was good the next day but… he was not. And we were both so tired from getting home at midnight and getting a 6am wake up call!
