There is so much to be thankful for during the holidays…great friends and family, celebrating the season, and a little fun gift exchange never hurt either! I was contacted by a few fellow bloggers to participate in a Mommy Blogger Secret Santa Gift Exchange to which I signed up immediately…even better, we decided to get gifts for the minis instead!
We used Elfster, a fantastic site that helps you assign secret gift recipients where you can share your wish list, your address, spending limit, etc. It was a breeze on the easiness factor and Caroline and I loved shopping for our elf, which was Miss Blair (daughter of Natalie from Nat Your Average Girl). I can’t lie, it was so simple given the fact that she and Caroline are so close in age, so shopping wasn’t too terribly tricky (at least this time around).
We mailed our gifts out last week and were relieved when she had received them via the USPS. We got her the Melissa and Doug Geometric Stacker and Decorate Your Own Mirror Set. Natalie said both have been a big hit at their house and I might have bought those for Caroline as Christmas gifts, too! (always nice to find something different we don’t have and might enjoy)
Delivery day came for Miss Caroline early this week, as well, and it turned out that Mr. Owen (and Colleen from Meet the Sullivans) were CC’s savvy shopper. The box was packed full of the sweetest, most thoughtful presents with Minnie Mouse…both Owen and Colleen obviously know what my girl goes gaga over!! đ

So thankful I get to share this exciting journey with them and can’t wait to do it again next year!! And of course, a special THANK YOU to Colleen and Owen for spoiling me and my girl like crazy đ
P.S. for those interested, we did gifts for the “older” siblings this time around since most of the wee ones are too little for now.
