ONE. Lipstick Junkie
Is it just me or is anyone else out there turning into a lipstick-a-holic? I have been changing up my look a bit in the makeup department, especially for my lips…from wearing shiny lip gloss to lipsticks. Does this mean I am getting older because lipstick is usually targeted to women and not girls? I LOVE the smell of lipstick–reminds me of Mom and Gran–and from what I can tell so far, the color lasts longer and I like the moisturizing effect on my lips. I picked up a new shade the other day and am LOVING it already. Perfect nude-ish color for fall.

TWO. Club Twenty-Two Fundraiser
Ya’ll might have heard me mention a time or two that I am a member of the Nashville Junior League. This year, my placement is for our fundraiser called the Club Twenty Two Shopping Card. It’s a discount card you purchase for $50 and then you receive 20% off at tons of retailers in and around Nashville for two shopping periods…one in the fall and one in the spring. If you’re local and wish to purchase (perfect for holiday shopping which is just around the corner), here is the website to order. There are TONS of incredible stores this year including Kate Spade, JCrew, Gap, Ann Taylor, Brooks Brothers, Kayce Hughes, Vineyard Vines, Hemline, and Francesca’s…as well as other local marchants–photographers, restaurants, gyms, wardrobe stylists, etc. Here is a full list of our merchants.
It’s for a great cause in our community and helps back our partner agencies for the fight against childhood obesity, which is the JLN’s initiative for the next few years…we absolutely would appreciate your support!

THREE. Lasagna Soup…Staple Dinner for Fall
I made this concoction earlier this week and though I was a bit skeptical about how the finished product would turn out, let me tell you, it was AH-MAZING! A winner from both Jeff and I and it was semi-healthy, too. P.S. I did add garlic breadsticks to ours=not so healthy, but OH so worth it.
Trust me on this one friends, make this ASAP…perfect for weekend get together eating during football!

FOUR. Halloween Goody Bags

Pottery Barn Kids always seems to come through…I wanted to order both my girls cute trick-or-treat bags to use each year and so of course I knew they would have some adorable options to choose from! I went with the staple pumpkin just so it would match any costume we decide to use, and you can get them personalized, too!! Aren’t these too cute?? Better that they are on sale right now, and if the pumpkin doesn’t suit your fancy, try the ghost, cat, bat, spider, or any animal you can think of.

FIVE. Office Printables for the Win
If you have to work, at least you can have cute printables to make your week happier! To-Do lists, mailing labels, and artwork galore…these are adorable!
Another Five on Friday done and done my dears…I looked at my blog and can’t believe I actually posted something everyday this week-that must be a record for me because that NEVER happens. Post planning at its finest 🙂

Hope you lovelies have a wonderful weekend. This family is heading to the zoo, watching football, spending time with the big guy at church, and enjoying the cooler fall-like weather. OXOX

I wish I lived locally – that card sounds great! And those treat bags are so cute! I wanted to get the ghost for B but she's going to be Doc McStuffins this year and her doctor bag is going to double as her treat bag.
