There is something so fun about shopping for the perfect Easter outfit for Caroline! Let’s face it, I don’t think I’ll be looking so glamorous this year as my attire will most likely be some plain jane maternity dress, so I am going all out for my little darling. It’ll be her first Easter at church and I cannot wait to dress her up in some gorgeous spring colors…here are some fun looks I put together!

Is Easter a big holiday in your home? I have such fun memories growing up of getting dressed up for church, going out to brunch with our entire family, and of course hopping over to local Easter egg hunts at our favorite parks (Nashville natives, remember when they had these at Opryland?) I can’t believe Easter is a mere 2.5 weeks away!! Hoping these gorgeous springtime temperatures stick around.

  1. You = plain jane?! Ha … never! 🙂

I love those outfit ideas, they are absolutely adorable.

Every Easter, Mom would make us all a smocked or embroidered dress of our own design. Then, we'd go to the SC State House and take pictures. It was such a sweet tradition.

  2. Amy says:

These are all so cute! I hope to have a little girl to dress up someday. Boys are fun, but not when it comes to dressing them up. There's only so much you can do.

  3. Amanda Evans says:

Oh how i miss nashville! Loved opryland when i was a kid 😀

I live in London England now and would love to be home for Easter x

Like your blog, reminds me of home! I even know some of your friends and get tickled when i see picks of them. Small world!

    Much love hun x Amanda

  4. I always got a fancy Easter dress every year too! It was a fun memory. 🙂

  5. Thanks for sharing. Now I'm really getting excited!

    xoxo
    Kelly

  6. Samma says:

Dell Harper has a multitude os smocking to wear for Easter- now if it would only warm up! It is freezing today!

  7. Those gold sandals. I cannot handle it. CANNOT.

She is going to be the sweetest little thing on Easter Sunday!

  8. Ashley says:

We never had a big Easter dinner or anything, but we ALWAYS had a fun egg hunt!
I can't imagine you looking plain Jane, I'm sure your accessories and shoes will make up for a simple dress!

  9. Jen Gordon says:

these are so adorable! You are seriously giving me baby fever & hopes that one day I will have a little girl to dress up!! 🙂 🙂

  10. melissa says:

So many cute options for Miss Caroline! I love that mint dress on the left!

Easter was not a big holiday in my family. We got Easter baskets and for a few years when we were younger did egg hunts. I'm excited to hide eggs for Blaire this year! I don't know if she'll get the concept of hunting for them but we're going to try!

  11. Easter is just my favorite holiday for dressing up Avery! I'm anxiously waiting a yellow polka dot smocked Easter egg dress…come on USPS! I can't wait to see what you doll up sweet baby Caroline in. We're also having a special Easter Egg hunt party the Saturday before and a special someone has an Easter tutu…get ready! 🙂

  12. Andee Layne says:

i can't wait to see little CC in her Easters best! Such cute picks!

  13. Angie says:

What cute looks! I love the blue one. It looks kind of nautical to me. I've already got the kids their Easter outfits. Lee is wearing a purple dress and Ax has a suit with a purple tie. Anika being older chose a white dress but it does have a purple flower. I guess purple is our theme this year. I need to get their pictures made in their outfits 🙂

  14. these outfits are too adorable
