Thursday Adorations and Ramblings

wedding festivities

May 11, 2011

today there is lots of love going around my blog my dears so i thought i’d hop on the train and talk about the little things that just stand out and make me happy…

i love our girl’s book club meetings. we had another rendezvous last night and we’re reading “Same Kind of Different as Me”…i’m already loving this new read and can’t wait to continue on! i love book club nights–fabulous women, fabulous conversations, and fabulous food to top it off.

i’m loving i get to be with my best friends not 1 but 2 weekends in a row. tomorrow, we’re headed to knoxville for a number of activities. my cousin lauren’s graduation from UT, our friend joanna’s wedding, and my final bridal shower that my future-sister-in-law is throwing “Monograms and Margaritas”…check out the uber adorable invites: {this isn’t mine, but the design itself}

i’m loving the porkchop recipe i concocted lthe other night…so easy and a little spicy–jeff was in heaven! 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, 1 tsp cayenne pepper, 2 tbsp garlic salt/pepper blend {bought from tjmaxx}, honey bbq sauce, and canola oil. you mix the dry ingredients together, brush the canola oil and bbq sauce on the chops, and then add the dry ingredients to both sides of the meat…put on the grill for 5 minutes on each side and serve!

i’m loving my bridal portraits…chris and adrienne sent me the link to my gallery this morning to which i immediately called mom and we went through each and every single picture online–such a fun moment–we were both oohing and ahhhing and screaming with excitement–now taht is a way to make my day!

and finally, i’m loving that warm weather and hotter temps have finally arrived. this means staying fit for swimsuit season, lots of weekend cookouts, wedding season, happy hours spent on local patios, the sun staying out longer each day, and wearing pretty sandals and dresses as much as possible. this girl loves summertime!!

after today, i am off for another 3-day weekend…ahhh!! hope all of you have one fantabulous weekend–i vow to take pictures and be the photo loving person i used to be…lol =)
