Luck of the Irish!

Uncategorized

March 10, 2011

If we weren’t so busy this month of March, I would totally want to host a St. Patrick’s Day get together with our friends…one because I love the fun madness that ensues March 17th and two, because I love any excuse to throw a themed party. With only one week to go until the lucky all-things-green day, here are some really cute and creative decor/cooking/party ideas I found while browsing the blogs and sites for festive times with your favorite leprechauns!

Mint Chocolate Whoopie Pies via Grin and Bake It
Lucky Charms Cupcakes via Betty Crocker
Leprechaun Centerpiece via Hostess with the Mostess
Shamrocker Custom Garland Banner via Etsy PaperPolaroid
St. Patricks Day Stacker via Etsy SimplyPerfectDecor
Handmade Yarn Wreath via Etsy Astrausa
  1. That garland is adorable!

  2. We love St. Patty's Day at the Sullivan house! I make Irish Soda Bread every year. I'm going to share the recipe on my blog this weekend for sure!

Thanks for sharing all the pics! I love seeing what everyone elses ideas are!

(www.colleenandkeith.blogspot.com if anyone else wants to come by over the weekend and see the recipe and pics too!)

  3. We usually go out and do a little pub crawl – or we have for the last few years… but these ideas are all so cute! It's making me want to have a party! 😉

  4. Love the different ideas! Makes me want to have a St Patricks day party as well!

I LOVE St Patricks day so much! I would also love to host a party but just no time. I'll just go to a bar and drink a green beer. YUM!

  6. Sarah Wyland says:

Love the stacker and the garland. I might have to try my hand at replicating that wreath…

  7. Tiffany says:

Oh my goodness….those cookies and that cupcake make me really wish I hadn't given up sweets for Lent!

  10. Sara says:

So fun! The cupcakes with lucky charms is a cute idea I will have to recreate- St. Patrick's Day is always a big celebration in our home. 🙂

  11. Love all of those pics! They are great and fun! My husband tends to think this is HIS holiday since his name is patrick and he has a distant and I do mean distant irish background! LOL!

I have a great giveaway going on today- would love for you to stop by and check it out! XO

LOVE that cute cupcake AND your blog! I gave you a shout out today on mine since I highlighted that Betty Crocker recipe. SO cute and simple! Happy Friday!

  13. I love the lucky charms as cupcake toppers! What a cute idea. I think I will put them atop some mint cupcakes.
