Yep, you heard it right…the first snow of the winter season fell through Nashville yesterday and last night. Of course, my family was right out in the middle of it too–adventure seekers, that we are. However, we all know southerners can’t drive in the snow so why do we pretend that we’re knowledgeable in these elements?? That is something I doubt I’ll ever figure out.
I did brave the icey roads this morning and had a personal escort in the way of Mr. Jeff who was so sweet to take me to work so I could grab my laptop and return home to work the rest of the day in my sweatpants. Snow days don’t happen in corporate america =(

I'm in North Carolina and we didn't get anything, but rain. We got some snow like two weeks ago though. Yes, your very right…Southerns don't know how to drive in the snow and corporate american never shuts down! Ever! LOL

I am beyond jealous! The only snow that I see in Texas (when we're fortunate enough for that to happen)melts as soon as it's touched. Such a tease!

We got about 16 inches in Minnesota over the weekend…which is a lot even for Minnesota!! Even though I've live here my whole life, I still haven't gotten used to driving in it. At least we are well prepared for it each year and roads get plowed really quickly! Stay warm!
