Yes, it’s true… this morning, my favorite Nashville radio deejays announced that the woman herself will be in concert here in April–be still my heart I am in heaven! Since I wasn’t able to make it to her concert in Atlanta, I was keeping my fingers crossed she’d come visit her “little monsters” in Music City and she granted my wish early this AM! Tickets go on sale Saturday morning and you better bet your bottom dollar I will be purchasing them no matter what! Sounds like a PERFECT girls night to me!!
This weekend was not so lovely in the world of football for Tennessee fans alike… both the Titans AND my beloved VOLS lost, but not without great effort–we were in Knoxville enjoying the beautiful weather and tailgating with friends all day and night, so it felt like a win for us–not to mention we played tremendously better than we did against Oregon last week so we’ll take that as vast improvement and hope we continue to get our stride back…

After the game, we headed home to get ready for the night’s festivities…Jeff and I grabbed some sushi at my favorite sushi destination, Nama, before meeting everyone out to celebrate Andy’s last 20-something birthday at Tin Roof–SO MUCH FUN! We danced and sang right next to the band {Bev and I are total shameless groupies and loved every bit of it} and I met Jamal Lewis–wonderful night with AMAZING friends…
