Top 2 Tuesday… My Favorite Books!

vacation

June 8, 2010

Now that it’s summer, I officially mark my calendar in the attempts to read more at night. Most of my shows are either in reruns or something random is on so I hope to take some time a few nights a week to sit on my porch and read. I am hoping Taylor’s topic this week will have some people posting some new favs I can add to my collection, too!
My Top 2 Favorite Books
This is a difficult decision! There are so many books I have read that have impacted me for different reasons, whether they were just good fun reads or had a deeper meaning that really spoke to me personally, but these have to be my chosen two:
1. Bergdorf Blondes
Written by Plum Sykes, it is INCREDIBLE! Great to read on the beach, too!

2. Chasing Harry Winston
For all the ladies who can’t help but to dream about their engagement and wedding, this book is for you. Written by Lauren Weisberger (The Devil Wears Prada) this is wonderful and really makes trying to find Mr. Prince Charming a lot more fun!
Hop on over to Taylor’s blog and see everyone’s pics!
And FYI: I did finally finish Breaking Dawn (one of June’s goals) and I am going to start reading The Help this weekend during my weekend wedding trip!

  1. Chasing Harry Winston was a really good book. hilarious but the girls have a dirty mouth! Currently, I am falling under peer pressure and about to start reading Eat, Pray, Love. everyone is saying how it is such a good book!
