I’m a little swamped today {with all things work, home, etc} so I will keep this one fairly short, though making sure to hit all the high points in between the weekend o’ fun!
Friday night–ventured out with Mom, Meg, and Lauren to Acorn–fantastic food and drinks by the way–and then went and saw SATC2! I know some people weren’t fans of the sequel, however, I thought this pass at the ladies’ lives was much more entertaining and fun than the 1st movie’s dramatic showdown. All in all, well worth the hype and fun from beginning to end. P.S. did anyone else see how many HILARIOUS movies were in the previews? This is going to be a fun summer at the movies for sure!
As for Saturday’s activities, Jeff and I worked diligently on the house… I weeded the yard and landscaping beds and cleaned the side porch while Jeff pressure washed the back deck so we can start staining the deck and fence this week! That night, we had our other 2 regular couples over for a backyard BBQ–complete with BBQ bacon porkchops, bacon wrapped scallops, fresh green beans, and corn salsa! It was yummy and we all had a great time… see pics that follow:

Sunday morning, Jeff and I left for the lake to stay with our friends, Tom and Julie. Tom is Jeff’s best man, and his boss, and they are so much fun to be around. We got to relax, cookout, cruise around the lake and wakesurf, and jut enjoy the last days of the long holiday weekend!!! Ahhh the life =) Hope you all had a GREAT Memorial Day weekend, too!!

Fun! I am slacking majorly and have not yet seen SATC2 but am hoping to go one day this week.
Looks like a great weekend! I did like SATC for the most part. I'm just in love with those characters so I'm pretty sure they could do anything with the movies and I'll still go and like it. 🙂
