{Sledding and Snow}

Uncategorized

February 1, 2010

The meterologists finally got their pay back for all of us “non-supporters” who continually say they can’t read radar… unless you’re living under a rock, you’ve seen the monstrosity of a winter storm that was blanketed all over the south, and Nashville definitely got it’s fair share of the snow this weekend.
Thankfully, we all made it home safely on Friday afternoon to avoid the crazy snow that fell for more than 20 hours, and Jeff scurried along to Kroger to get the necessities: pasta, cereal, milk, and beer! haha–gotta do something fun when you’re snowed in, right??? That evening, we took it easy–cooking dinner and watching movies. We rented Inglorious Basterds by Quentin Tarrantino, which was surprisingly good–however–do not watch if you can’t take some nasty blood, and reading subtitles throughout a 2 hour movie… not what I expected AT ALL, but still a good flick.
Saturday, we bundled up with friends and ventured out to do some major sledding… so funny!! We had a great time, but decided after a few rounds that the “snow mountain” got the better of us so we headed to the Gray’s for some food and Wii {yes, the girls dominated game night just like EVERY OTHER TIME we play and the boys had to do snow angels in the yard for losing-LOL!}
Our Sunday was spent with more wedding planning and details, details, details… I think we have decided on a reception venue AND a rehearsal dinner location, but I want to make sure we secure each venue before announcing it to the blogging world =) Happy Monday Friends!! OXOX
