Southern Sushi

Uncategorized

August 3, 2009

I’ve been talking for months about how I wanted start taking cooking classes, and even more so, one dedicated to the art of sushi… well, little to my knowledge, Jeff planned a date night for us to make sushi at his house and we finally got the chance to get creative last night.
Not to toot my own horn by any means, but for our first time experimenting with the delicacy, I’ll go ahead and say JOB WELL DONE! To be honest, I can’t believe it was as tasty as it was, especially because we were creating our own method, but after all was said and done, we gave ourselves a round of applause and decided we may just need to do this more often. Of course we had to document the fun, too and I want to say a quick thanks to Jay and Ashley who gave Jeff the rules to follow and told him exactly where to buy all the materials. Here’s a peak at our wonderful rolls =)
Ahi Tuna, Scallops, Shrimp, Crab, Cream Cheese, and Cucumbers- YUMMY!!
