Christmas Time...27 Week Bumpdate!!

How Far Along? 27 weeks, 5 days...86 days to go!
Size of Sweet Caroline? She is 14.5 inches long and weighs between 2 and 2.5 pounds- they compare her to a cauliflower this week...ok, now little one isn't so little anymore.
Maternity Clothes? I feel very fortunate in that I have been able to wear so many of my pre-maternity tops and dresses...I live in tunics and leggings these days and when I play dress up, it's all about fun A-line/empire style dresses for this lady. Jeans and pants are ALL maternity!
Weight Gain? 20 pounds...I think all that walking we did in NYC helped to combat some of that food I ate.
Stretch Marks? I look everyday just to be sure, but not any yet...that I can see ;)
Gender? Caroline Cate--I could say that name over and over again and never get tired of hearing it.
Sleep? I was a walking zombie upon our return home from NYC, but I think I am back in my groove now...I'm managing to get my workouts in too, which really help!
Food Cravings? Peppermint, fruit, and I am loving cereal again now- finally!
What I Miss? This week, I feel as though I'm not missing out on much...with Christmas, I am getting to enjoy the holidays with family and friends and feel fortunate to have a miracle of our very own.
Symptoms? Someone plays gymnastics in my belly at all hours of the night, achy muscles, and the occasional leg cramp.
Best Moment of the Week? Receiving my first baby shower invitation in the mail! My mom, aunt, and cousin are throwing a family shower with a dessert theme--do they know me or what? Here is what the invite looks like, though I "borrowed" this one from Tinyprints as I can't give away all the details ;)

To Do List: I am starting to think that to hold myself accountable for all the things I need to accomplish with the nursery before March, I need to write it down so that friends {ahem, you know who you are} can be sure to keep me on track! Here are the outstanding items to tackle:
  • Paint the nursery {once I finally get my bedding delivered, this should be a fairly quick process--I have 4 tentative colors already picked out}
  • Order a side table to accompany the chair
  • Purchase a fun patterned ottoman/pouf
  • Install curtains and hardware on the windows
  • Find the perfect mobile
  • Hang all wall decor--we're doing a gallery wall over the dresser/changing table and then ledges for frames, pictures, and any other decor we find!
And last, but certainly not least, I just wanted to say a little thank you to so many of you who have sent kind comments, emails, and said such sweet words about this absolutely exciting time in my life. You all make it so much fun to share each and every little thing with you about being pregnant and your compliments brighten my day more than you can imagine!

Weekend Recap and Bumpdate...15 Weeks!

This past weekend was all about relaxing...after being out of town for a week, things at the house needed to get in order--groceries, endless amounts of laundry, de-cluttering to make way for the contractor starting TODAY, and getting out the fall decor to spiffy up a bit. It was by no means glamorous, but it was much needed due to the fact that we have only 1 more weekend until Thanksgiving where we are in town with no plans...WHOA.
Friday night, I spent some time with me, myself, and I. Jeff was at a important meeting golf tournament in Knoxville and wasn't getting home until late, so I whipped myself up some dinner and spent most of my evening on the couch catching up on TV.
Saturday, we slept in and then headed to the gym before I disembarked on a shopping adventure. I started by searching out cribs to save some $$ though I am fully aware I am most likely going to break down and buy what I desperately want from Restoration Hardware Baby and Child {if they would ever have another promotion on furniture!}. Then it was on to another store to scope out baby strollers...lordy lordy! Are you aware of how many strollers there are to choose from? This lady got overwhelmed after I couldn't figure out how to get one assembled and called it a day--Jeff gets to come back with me next time ;).
On Sunday, we were bad and skipped church because I couldn't seem to get up and moving...so instead, we made homemade belgium waffles and relaxed around the house the rest of the afternoon until our shows came on. The season premiere of Boardwalk Empire {AMAZING just as I expected} and then Pan Am which was really good, too--new shows, yay!

Alright, now onto the baby stuff:
How far along? 15 weeks, 3 days...172 days to go!
Size of the bambino? A navel orange
Maternity Clothes? I used the Bella Band for the first time last week and it works wonders I tell you. I can still wear my regular jeans--and yes, this makes me think I am still that small, though the tummy, butt, and thighs are ever expanding ;)
Weight Gain? Ewww...the bad part--5 pounds
Stretch Marks? Nope--that cocoa butter/prego lotion seems to be doing the trick!
Gender? See my new little addtion to the right? I'd love to hear your thoughts/votes and see what you think the little peanut is...I cannot WAIT to find out! We are having our gender reveal party on October 22 with friends and family, though Jeff and I will find out earlier that week on the 18th, only to keep the secret for a few days. We went back and forth on whether or not we wanted to know before everyone else, but thought this could be a fun moment for just the two of us to enjoy together.
Movement? I swear I thought I felt something the other night, but I think it was just my stomach grumbling--haha.
Sleep? This isn't going so well this week. I officially have passed the "I can still sleep on my stomach" portion of the pregnancy and sleeping on my side for a whole night just isn't working. Fail. =(
Food Cravings? The most random things...chicken nuggets, grapes, and cookies--hey, there is some nutrition in there. Do alcoholic beverages count as cravings?
What I Miss? Working out regularly--lately, I am so tired I can barely keep my head up at work, not to mention getting up for morning rendezvous at the gym aren't happening as frequently as I would like--this week's goal: 3 days of gym time! I also miss going to late dinners with Jeff. He knows if I don't eat by 6:30 it's game over.
Symptoms? Insomnia, indigestion, and I swear I am getting cankles--gross.
Best Moment of the Week? Jeff and I were laying in bed Sunday morning watching TV and I couldn't help but think that in a mere 5.5 months, we'll have a little snuggle bear to spend our mornings with...happy heart!
Oh, and I sent out our gender reveal party invites--take a look! I worked with Jen of Blackberry Graphics on Etsy to design them and they turned out perfectly with the colors we are using for the party...I think it's going to be a lot of fun! {just showing the top part of the invitation, as the bottom features our contact info--not necesasry to show--lol}

Friday Happies and Answers to Questions

First of all, thanks for all your kinds words about the bridal brunch...I can't believe it's already been 2 weeks since we were all together in celebration, but time really does fly when you're having fun! I received a lot of questions from readers after I posted yesterday so wanted to answer before I forgot:
Question from Kelsea: Where did you find the embroidered handkerchefs? Lucky that I stumbled on Etsy early into the wedding planning, I found Molly and Mom and knew Cathy would help me with the perfect gifts. Fabulous vendor who was quick, detailed, and a pleasure to work with.
Question from Courtney: She said she was obsessed with our wedding invitations, and was wanting to know where they came from? Let's go ahead and be honest here, I found my wedding invitation designer long before I was ever proposed to--sorry Jeff. I knew I had found "the graphical one" years ago when I stumbled across the lovely Joni of Chocolate Butterbean. She is the epitomy of designing classicly southern and eleganct invitations, monograms, and wooden signs and I was certain I had to have her design our custom invitations--hands down, my absolute favorite detail of my wedding because it set the tone for our big day.
Question from Laura, CMae, and Little Bit of My Life: These ladies are just itching to know where I found the dress I wore for my bridal brunch... Interestingly enough, Macy's of all places. It's a Kensie dress I found online months ago and ordered it because I knew it would be perfect for one of my bridal showers or events. It was dressy, but still casual, very comfortable, and I loved the floral appliques. Perfect for ANY bride-to-be!!
Question from Sarah: She's wanting to know what the custom earrings for the bridesmaids looked like...well, here they are! I worked with Judith from her Etsy shop "A Box For My Treasure" which was a wonderful experience--she designed a few styles based on ideas I had sent her, and this is what we came up with...they looked great with the girls' dresses and they are earrings they can definitely wear again and again.
Alright, alright, enough of wedding chatter for the day, because it's FRIDAY lovelies! Almost time to relax and enjoy the weekend and I am excited to spend it with that handsome beau of mine...on tonight's agenda, we're headed to "gift" ourselves...friends and family were generous enough to give us gift cards and cash to buy the rest of our wedding registry gifts so we'll be stocking up on our everyday flatware and pots and pans--I know, glamorous, right? Then we're headed to meet up with mom and dad for a little late dinner action in Cool Springs.
Tomorrow, we'll be up and at it--hitting the gym early before it gets too humid, and then playing operation organization at the house...old with the old and in with the new! Shopping for new bedding, de-clutterizing, and spending some time out in the yard working on the landscaping.
Then, it's time for this lady to do some MAJOR shopping for work clothes. Unfortunately, my closet is stocked to the brim with festive and fun wedding and party dreses, swimsuits, and cover-ups, though my wardrobe in the work department has been suffering--hoping I can stock up on some sales at the mall. Later that afternoon, we'll be wining and dining with the Grunkes' for dinner and drinks.
I am so looking forward to Sunday--we'll finally be making our way back to church after a lengthy sabactle and then relaxing at the parent's neighborhood pool all afternoon so we can attempt to keep up our tans ;).
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!! I am counting down the minutes until lunch because we're having a dessert party at work and I can gorge myself with the homemade pina colada cake I made--oh yes, the sweets are calling my name and I am ready to indulge a bit...it has been a crazy busy week so I deserve it--hehe. Enjoy the summertime weather friends!

Wedding Wednesday...Saved the Best for Last!

Here it is friends...my very last Wedding Wednesday post. Let's face it, with a little more than a week to go, I know my mind will be spinning next week so posts are most likely going to be few and far between as we finalize all the small details and try to relax and soak in each and every moment!
First of all, I want to say a big thank you to each of you for being so supportive these past 16 months {yes, I know uber long engagement}. Your thoughtful comments, advice, sweet words of encouragement, and genuine care and concern have meant more to me than I could ever explain in words and I appreciate you all. It's been so fun to write about this exciting time in my life and share a piece of who I am with my blogging friends. Not to mention it will be fun to look back on this crazy wedding planning process to know just how hard we worked to make everything fit our personalities, show our guests a great time, and check off all the details I had bookmarked and saved for what seems to be my entire life. So from me to you, thanks for paying the slightest bit of attention to my little blog...you made this girl very happy!
So I know you're dying to know: what in the world could I possibly have still to do?
  • Finish the rehearsal dinner escort cards and placecards for table assignments
  • Wrap all of the bridal party, family, and Jeff's wedding gifts
  • Pick up our wedding rings
  • Assemble the OOT gift bags
  • Call vendors for final headcount of guests
  • Drop off all wedding-related items to our wedding planner
  • Get my final haircut and color
  • Pick up rehearsal dress from alterations and wedding dress from bridal salon
  • Pamper Mom and I with manis and pedis
  • Finish packing for the honeymoon!!
I know, that small list seems like nothing compared to what I started with, and what I've slowly been checking off recently...now the real fun begins as all these pieces start coming together and I can see our "wedding vision" come to fruition. I know I've got to make sure I get my photographers to capture all the details we worked so diligently on so I can proudly show off some of our DIY-savvyness!
So people have started asking me a bunch of questions about the wedding and I compiled them all together to share some fun stuff with you:
1. Are you wearing a veil? What kind? My "classic" wedding does indeed include wearing a veil, especially since I will be walking down this long and gorgeous aisle...I think I would be doing Scarritt Bennett an injustice if I was to forego this crucial detail
2. What is the single most unique thing about your wedding? Wow, that's a hard one..I think all of the small details that I worked with numerous vendors on. I think our invitations and programs are extremely unique in that I had so much involvement with the design of them...1) because of my fascination with paper and stationery, and 2) because I wanted them to set the tone for the entire theme of our wedding. I also can't wait to surprise our guests with some of the fun elements we'll have at our reception!
3. What inspired your wedding? What are your wedding colors? The overall inspiration of my wedding came from timeless, classic weddings. I wanted to incorporate black and ivory which will forever be glamorous and in style, and then wanted to add in a pop of color, hence where the yellow accents came from. I created tons of inspiration boards and perused sites for hours on end finding just the right mix to complement our church and reception venues and I think it suits our personalities perfectly!
4. What is your first dance song? That's a surprise, but it's a song that I stumbled across last year when looking at videographers websites believe it or not. It's not too fast, not too slow, and something I haven't ever heard at a wedding before and it's a happy-go-lucky tune perfect for our first twirl on the dance floor.
5. What's the most unique thing about your ceremony? The thing I love most about our ceremony is that we have found a way to incorporate Jeff's dad's memory into our nuptuals. He passed away when Jeff was 17 and though he can't be there in person, we wanted to find a way to include his #1 role model in our big day. One of my good friends did something similar last year and I thought it was so touching as a way to pay tribute to Jeff's dad.
6. What's the weirdest/rudest thing someone has said about your plans so far? Hmmm...to be honest, not "one" thing stands out in my mind about something rude someone has said to me. People have asked how much things cost which can be a bit odd, especially if they don't know you that well, but overall everyone has been very complimentary and happy about our wedding plans. It is funny though when people say "well I would do this" and "I would do that"...OK fine by me--everyone is totally entitled to their own opinion when it comes to their dream wedding.
7. What's the nicest/coolest/made-you-smile thing someone has said about your wedding plans? Two things: I had someone I don't know very well from Jeff's friends call me one day to say how much they loved our invitations and that they were the prettiest invites they had ever seen--that put a big smile on my face in that I went through 7 rounds of revisions to make our invitations absolutely perfect. Then, I had another someone email me to say they had been reading all of my wedding-related posts on the blog and saying they couldn't wait to see it all come together because once they got engaged they wanted to hire me as their wedding planner...hmmm new profession perhaps?? ;)

So that's all from me...trying to stay focused at work these last few days wrapping up client events, proposals, and staying on top of all the last minute wedding preparation emails and phone conversations that seem to keep pouring in--in a mere 10 days, I finally get to marry Jeff and I am beaming with anticipation! Have a FANTASTIC day, friends!

I'm Back Friends!!

Alright, first of all, I loved all of your funny comments and antics yesterday in reference to my "annoyances" post... I find it funny that so many of you equally loathe Leann Rimes and that though we're excited about the royal wedding and seeing the new Princess Katherine, the national news has gone haywire over this event. Thanks for humoring me with much delight ;)
Yesterday turned out to be absolutely splendid! I think my {and Mom's, Meg's, Jeff's, and our wedding vendors} fingers crossed, no rain dances, prayers to the Good Lord really paid off because my bridal portraits went off without a hitch. To put it nicely, I woke up to bleak skies and rain showers to which I replied... "it is what it is and the show must go on." We stuck to our guns and moved forward with all my getting ready details--Amy Lynn came to do my makeup, Mary worked on my hair, Mom picked up my dress, accessories, and bouquet, and after all was complete, we were on our way.
Fortunately for us, the clouds parted, the sun came out, and it was gorgeous weather for a photoshoot. We met my photogs, Chris and Adrienne, at Scarritt Bennett and got down to business... talk about fun! EVERY bride, if able, should take my advice and have their  portraits taken prior to wedding day. I was able to see my complete look with everything done, and I was finally able to see myself looking like a real bride. My Mom and I had too much fun soaking it all in and I know a few tears of joy were shed on both our parts because we had been working so hard on making sure everything was just perfect...thanks Mommy! It was a wonderful day and I can't wait to see how my bridal portraits turn out. {P.S. not to disappoint, but that pic above isn't me}
In celebration, last night Mom, Jeff, and I went to Mellow Mushroom since I had been craving pizza...yes, I did indulge. And not only did I give in to pizza, we rounded out my perfect day with Sweet CeCe's CHOCOLATE yogurt....ahhhh cocoa I have missed you.
So, it's Wedding Wednesday, and only 45 more days to go until the big I DO! We just sent out our rehearsal dinner invitations on Monday and I wanted to share so here they are: yes, simple and classic and exactly what I wanted!!
Winter Flourish Invite via Minted
We also ordered simple ivory envelopes and then ordered a custom stamp from the darling Lettergirl on Etsy. We went with the Bea self-inking stamp design and just love how it turned out!!
What's left to finalize you ask??
  • Order reception exit/getaway items {rose petals, sparklers, etc} I already know what I'm ordering, but the suspense for friends is fun ;)
  • Buy liquor/wine/beer for reception--we're heading to Atlanta this weekend to cover this BIG detail...afterall, alcohol is semi mucho important for our reception party!
  • Buy our ring bearer gifts...hardest decision I have faced in awhile...any ideas?
  • Work on Out-of-Town guest gift bags
  • Buy rehearsal dinner shoes and accessories--hoping to tackle this in ATL as well
  • Make rehearsal dinner escort cards and board for guests
  • Other odds and ends
  • Party it up in Chicago with my best friends next weekend--WOO HOO!
We're at the home stretch for the big enchilada and I am getting so excited for it to get here already...the anticipation is killing me! Alright friends, what things could I potentially be forgetting here?? As OCD planner/Type-A as I am, who knows if I am forgetting something major--and yes, already have a note to get the marriage certificate the week before the wedding...haha! Happy Hump Day my darlings!

It's All in the Details...The Wedding Invitations

Originally, I had planned to wait until tomorrow to share my pictures of our wedding invitations, but because I am just so overwhelmed with giddyness and excitement, I decided that all of our guests have surely received their invitations by now so I can divulge the detailed goodness.
So without further adieu, here they are...my favorite pieces of paper e v e r:

The full invitation suite...invitation, response card, and accommodations card
The full digital file so you can see the detail
Detail of my calligraphy on the outer envelopes
A heaping pile of hard work and love
All boxed up and ready to be mailed!
So there you have it!! Words can't describe the feeling I had when these lovelies were sent out last week... first of all, relief from finally being done with such a huge component of our wedding, and secondly, happiness in that I {as well as the parents and my wonderful MOH} spent loads of time stuffing and sealing these pretty little envelopes for our guests. I know some people think wedding invitations are merely paper, but for this girl, it's the first element of our forthcoming wedding where friends, family, and guests will hopefully get a sneak peak of what's to come and what to expect.
And finally, thanks SO much to our friends and family who have emailed, texted, and called me and/or Jeff to tell me how much they love our invitations. This is icing on the cake for me with this labor of love and it means more than you will ever know ;)

Wedding Wednesday...You've Got Mail {and Clarifications}

OK so I didn't think my last post regarding "the diet" would stimulate so much conversation...I am glad to know that people actually care what I have to say, so thanks for listening friends. With that being said, I want to clarify what I meant by my diet-- we all have a certain way we want to look on our wedding, right? I hope I am not being superficial here, but I think we want to look like the "best version of ourselves" or that is how I envision it myself.
I am not BY ANY MEANS trying to lose a bunch of weight...I am at a place where I am happy with the way my body looks, but I do believe that toning and firming right before our nuptuals AND honeymoon {i.e. week long of being in a bathing suit, eating hoards of gourmet food, and an endless supply of alcoholic beverages} seems like a good enough reason for me. I hope I didn't offend anyone, but just trying to bookmark my personal wedding journey in case others need advice, tips/tricks, helpful motivation, etc. I do thank you whole-heartedly for all the thoughtful suggestions and whatnot. =)
Also, my question yesterday asked if you ladies were aware of bridal portraits...I am SHOCKED and in awe that I do believe this is a mostly southern thing. I did receive some feedback stating that some midwest ladies partake in this blessed photo event, but I think this occasion is primarily aimed for us southern belles. So what is it for those of you who are unaware?
In generic terms, it's a trial/run-through...it's to show what you'll look like come wedding day. You get your hair styled and your makeup done by your beauty team, put on your wedding gown and accessories {once all final fittings and alterations are complete}, have your florist create your wedding bouquet, and then join up with your photographer(s) to take pictures. For me, this was an EASY decision.
First of all, my parents want to frame a portrait to have on-site at the reception...this way, your guests can see the details of your wedding dress/veil/etc. It's also so they can display it at their house once the wedding is over. My poor father is oh so excited to have another huge portrait of me lining the walls of their house--haha. And finally, the most important reason...this gives you the opportunity to look at yourself and see how your hair, makeup, and overall "wedding day look" appears in pictures. I know lots of friends who have changed elements of what they had originally wanted based off their portraits so I know this will be a sigh of relief for me and a taste of what I hope to look like on June 11th. I hope this answers your questions ladies. If not, feel free to ask- I am an open book.
So--today was a BIG milestone day for us as the wedding is coming to fruition... this morning Jeff and I had a little breakfast and went downtown to handcancel AND mail out our wedding invitations. Talk about a big sigh of relief... I have agonized over these little pieces of paper for months and I am so excited that our family, friends, and honored guests will be opening these envelopes VERY soon! Can't wait to show you all the end result--once they are delivered of course!

Wedding Wedding... All Things Wedding

We are officially coming into the home stretch friends... no, really, I'm serious. Since last January, I have been pain-stakingly agonizing about each and every detail of this whole shebang and as of tomorrow, we will be at the 100 day countdown--holy moly now I need to zip it and finish what I've started!
This afternoon, the fiance and I are heading to our beloved rehearsal dinner venue to confirm the details for the night-before-dinner that will be spent with our bridal party and closest friends and family...small and intimate {well, if you call 65 people small}. I cannot wait to finalize the decor, work on the seating chart, select our menu, and talk about the finishing details. This is where my DIY skills will--hopefully--come into play!
In the next week or two, I will be ordering our rehearsal dinner invitations from my go-to online invitation website Minted. Here are some of my favorite designs...though you already know none of these are "the one"...I know, I am no fun ;).
Air Mail Invitation
Midnight Vineyard Invitation
Just My Type Invitation
Country Flair Invitation
Float + Dotted Delight Invitation
Another fun wedding rendezvous later this week is my official hair trial/tun-through... Mom is accompanying me to make sure we're all in agreement for how I want the mane to look for both my bridal portraits as well as the big day! {I know, I am keeping you all in suspense, right?}
I'm also in the midst of ordering all kinds of hostess/bridesmaid gifts and this is where it gets tricky--I have seen it all and received all sorts of presents through my "bridesmaid reign" in hosting parties for others...we'll see what I come up with, but advice--what's the best gift you've received for being a bridesmaid/hostess/etc?

And in proper blonde fashion, I absolutely forgot to post the winner of the Apothica gift card yesterday...a big shoutout goes and congrats to Deanna from Deanna in Pajamas!! She's the winner of the $50 worth of free money...enjoy and thanks for playing friends :)

Rise and Shine!

Hello lovelies! This quote says exactly how I am feeling about today:
I trust you all had a great weekend, as did I. I'll try not to bore you with too many details, just hitting the high points...Friday afternoon--dress fitting went perfectly so Mom and I headed to Taco Mamacita and then spent the night catching up with Jeff's bro-in-law Brian.
Saturday morning, we started the day by running errands all over town--I finally gave in to the iPhone phenom thanks to Verizon, and am in LOVE already! Then we picked up Jeff's wedding ring, bought baby gifts, and grilled out blue cheese hamburgers and sweet potato fries with Brian and Jeff's cousin Eddie. A fun night spent catching up with my soon-to-be fam! And they were so sweet to let me watch "Kennedy Home Movies". Has anyone else seen this?? FANTASTIC documentary about America's most beloved family. I also received our Couple's Shower invitation in the mail which made me EVER SO HAPPY!!! This is a picture of what the invitation looks like... adorable and I am so excited--it's on April 9th in Knoxville and is being hosted by my 2 bestest friends and their husbands, as well as Meg's parents--YIPPEE!
Sunday, we went to church {and of course received another awe-inspiring message}, headed to Home Depot to pick-up everything we need to get our yard ready for spring planting, did the weekly grocery shopping, worked for a few hours, and then met Lauren and Andy to see "The Fighter"---and yes, another wonderful must-see movie! Christian Bale is so going to win the Oscar, and deservably so. Finally, we finished out our night by making chicken fajitas...one of our favorite and ever-so-simple meals!
So as we start another Monday, I feel rested and rejuvenated and ready to tackle whatever this week throws at me. I finally broke out my new Asics this morning and took in 3.5 miles which felt GREAT! Ahhh...nothing like a new pair of tennis shoes I am telling you... small things really do make all the difference! Tonight is MY FAV night of The Bachelor--the hometown dates!! I know you're all chomping at the bit just as I am. Have a great Monday friends! ;)

Wedding Wednesday...Small Things, Big Things

Before I say anything else, I have to have a little show and tell... our engagement pictures were featured on another wedding blog recently and I was beaming so I wanted to share--hehe!
Check out Pretty Little Weddings' highlight of our photoshoot here. {P.S. do you not love the way Jillian writes? So eloquent and sophisticated--I can only dream}

OK back to the issue at hand, right? Planning, planning, and more planning--122 days to go.
Yesterday afternoon, I met with the Catering Manager from Chef's Market and we finalized everything food and food decor/design/set-up for the reception... we were so on the same page it was a tad bit freaky, but Jessica totally understands what we're wanting--sophisticated southern cuisine and I know our guests are going to love!
Check out some of Chef's awe-dropping food scapes:

In other news, we all know that Valentine's Day is next Monday, right? Well, my day of love will come just one day early on Sunday because our engagement announcement will be printed in the local Nashville newspaper--The Tennessean! Mom has been working on this item for weeks and I can't wait to see the finished product...I promise to share the link and take a picture, too--eeek with excitement!

And to make my week purely happy happy joy joy, as of last night, I sent the final approval and thumbs up for our custom wedding invitation suite over to Joni at Chocolate Butterbean... cannot wait to see these lovelies printed with our actual names written on them--a bit surreal I do declare. They are so reminiscent of our save-the-date design which makes my heart smile, too.

So that's all for now... on this weekend's agenda is to shop for shower dresses, hopefully purchase some of the bridesmaids and other wedding party gifts, order our guest book, and confirm a meeting with our florist for March to finalize all out bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony flowers--yay!!
