Rosemary Beach Rewind #1 | 2017 Edition

Wednesday, May 17, 2017

Post-vacation depression.. it's a STRUGGLE to function this week and that's no lie.
If you follow via Instagram, you saw our family traveled to Rosemary Beach last week and witnessed how much FAMILY FUN we had!!! Here's a look at all the surf and sand, beach time goodness...

Our home away from home for the week... Antigua Cottage Perfect 5-minute walk to the beach, easy access to the town square eateries and shops, and had a private pool = vacation rental perfection!

We arrived Saturday afternoon and of course the girls were instantly ready to put on their bathing suits!! We let them swim in the pool and then headed to the grocery store before finishing the night out with a quick walk to the beach so we could take in the sunset before indulging in pizza and bed.

Sunday was our first full day, so we packed up the wagon and took to the boardwalk for our quick walk to our beach chairs... it was absolutely perfect weather practically all week, so no complaints from this crew! Loads of seashell searching, net fishing, wave jumping, sand castle building, and walking along the beach.

beach necessities: Aviate Hat | Turkish T Coverlet | Astro Sunnies [use code TASHDIFF to save 25%]

oh goodness... I know I am biased, but gosh they are sweet
dressed to impress... taking on the town with my little sidekick! cover up and sunglasses
comfy beach slides [and yes, they come in a ton of color choices] | watermelon wristlet | mirrored sunnies

Sunday night, we headed to Red Bar to partake in our favorite, Blackened Grouper, a staple of their menu and as always, it didn't disappoint. Family friendly, loud, and lots of music and fun = the perfect place to take the girls who might have been overdosing on popsicles.

Monday morning came quickly, but at least we weren't dreading the work week since we were enjoying a bit of R&R. We spent another full morning at the beach, basking in the sun and then took the afternoon off to enjoy some downtime at the pool before the boys cooked steaks for dinner and then we made the long journey to Sugar Shak!
