I cannot tell you how many times I have had to explain this drink to bartenders and servers... my love affair with this tasty, crisp, and sweet concoction has turned many of my friends into fans of this drink as well, so today I thought I would share it with you! And yes, it's the perfect staple for spring and summer...
Afterall, I made it through Lent, 40 days to be exact, with zero alcohol and now I am most certainly celebrating--you only live once, right?!?!?!
Here's the lineup of ingredients:
Ready to make it for yourself?!?!
Combine gin, simple syrup and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into an iced champagne glass. Top with the champagne and stir gently... Serve and enjoy!!
