Top Shelf... My Favorite Cocktail, The French 75

Wednesday, April 19, 2017

I cannot tell you how many times I have had to explain this drink to bartenders and servers... my love affair with this tasty, crisp, and sweet concoction has turned many of my friends into fans of this drink as well, so today I thought I would share it with you! And yes, it's the perfect staple for spring and summer...

Afterall, I made it through Lent, 40 days to be exact, with zero alcohol and now I am most certainly celebrating--you only live once, right?!?!?!

Here's the lineup of ingredients:

Ready to make it for yourself?!?!
Combine gin, simple syrup and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into an iced champagne glass. Top with the champagne and stir gently... Serve and enjoy!!

I am also excited to announce that I've been selected to work with my friends at Drizly as a part of their Top Shelf Blogger Program... basically, I'll be showcasing tasty drink recipes and brand programs with the best from the beverage industry and bringing them to you to enjoy, too. This is going to be FUN!
Let me know what you'd like to see more of in terms of cocktails and beverages this season... I'm all ears for sharing what you want to read about!
