You may have seen my Instagram post last week where I mentioned us having to move ahead with Carson's big girl room after a few crib crawl-out instances... ummm yes, I totally wasn't prepared for that, like AT ALL. Let's just say we were trying to control the chaos of our beloved little lion cub for as long as possible, yet she kindly reminded us that she is three now and she needs a big girl room all her own.
With that, I got down to business with my handy dandy Pinterest helper... updating the board I had started for all things inspiration for Carson's room revamp and I am here today to share some of the design inspiration for her space!
First things first... that gorgeous Jenny Lind Yellow Bed. It's her favorite color and I couldn't resist buying it! Caroline has the same bed in black and we have loved it, so it was a no-brainer to buy one in a different shade for Carson. It's getting delivered this week, so I am on the hunt for the perfect bedding as we speak!
Basically, I am looking to make her room a big pop of color. We are keeping the existing paint color [Sherwin Williams First Star] which we have through the front half of our home and love, so I want to take things up a notch and go big with bold, bright colors that totally speak to her personality. Pinks, yellow, and oranges will make it stand out and will give my little Tink a space that's perfectly suited for all things bright and happy. Here's a few images below that showcase the aesthetic we are looking to achieve:
