five on friday

valentines day

February 19, 2016

One. All Things Easter for the Home
The hippity hoppity Easter bunny will soon be on his way, and yes, it’s another reason to break out a few fun accessories for our casa… pastels and fun entertaining options that make the space a little more happy! Just perused at some of my favorite hot spots for some ideas and oh goodness these make my color loving heart explode:

Two. Valentine’s Rewind
I can’t lie, this Valentine’s Day was simply the best… I was surrounded with my three favorite people and we spent all day together, savoring quality time by heading to the movies, eating at their most-beloved local restaurant, and then sweet Jeff surprised us all with a huge basket from Edible Arrangements. These Hallmark holidays sure have changed but it makes my heart the happiest it’s ever been to spend these days doing the things we enjoy most, and experiencing all these “firsts” with our girls.

The Sneaky Squirrel Game… a new favorite at our house!
Valentine’s Day baskets for my babies [and yes, everything matches]
The yummiest fruit basket there ever was… thank heavens for chocolate!
 My little movie dates
I mean… I can’t handle it. It was absolutely the sweetest thing ever

Three. Favorite New Spring Dresses

I know, half of the country has been covered in snow for much of the month, but who cares… I’m over it and I’ve officially moved on to spring even if the groundhog lied to us all. I may not be able to wear these pretties yet, but soon friends, SOON! And because they were ALL winners, I decided to show them on and off as collective outfits, too.
my newest favorite… this embroidered dress and the price tag of $68 is AMAZING
because I can never get enough white for spring and summer, this pretty ivory voile number is going to be perfect for warm days when I”m looking for casual, but cute… necklace found here, tassel fringe shoes found here [just $50], and Deux Lux clutch found here
Finally, this red number for some bold color, a little peep midsection detail, my favorite new wrap sandals, leopard print clutch, statement necklace, and a night out on the town with my beau… sounds like a good day to me!

Four. RoRo’s Baking Company

I’m fairly certain my poor hubby is upset with me right now, as the girls and I are currently devouring these oh so AMAZING cinnamon rolls and since he’s doing a low carb diet, he can’t partake in any of this sweet goodness. Unaware of RoRo’s Baking Company?? It’s a family owned and operated company based in Dallas, specializing in the TASTIEST rolls ever. They’ve kept their grandmother’s recipe and are now selling to friends like you and I… put it like this: they are so good they made Oprah’s Favorite Things List! Each pack of rolls is handmade and are sold fully baked and frozen, so all you have to do is heat and enjoy.

I’m sorry, but I’d rather workout everyday so that I can sample these goodies… AND I’m collaborating with my friends at RoRo’s over on my Instagram account today to give one lucky friend a package of their own!
Don’t want to wait and need to purchase yourself?? You can buy them online here.

Two. Pretty Weather Weekend

Hello sixty degree forecast!! I’m so excited I can’t contain it… I’m thinking loads of time at the park, riding bikes outside, and doing everything we can to soak up some vitamin D since it’ll probably be gone again soon. It’s off to have a relaxing weekend with my peeps… cheers friends!
