It's the final week of the Savvy Sassy Moms Holiday Blog Hop and it's the perfect way to end the roundup, with festive cocktails and holiday drinks!
For my feature, I am bringing you two tasty concoctions that we served last week for our annual Christmas Bunco Party... and for you friends out there who want easy recipes, these can't be beat!
First up, a holiday twist on a classic moscow mule known as a Cranberry Ginger Cocktail [original recipe found via Pixelated Crumb]. Rather than make a single serving, we served party style in a glass pitcher so that it was easier to already have a lot made at once:
Cranberry Moscow Mule
8 oz vodka
8 oz ginger beer
1/2 cup cranberry juice
1 cup fresh cranberries
Combine vodka, ginger beer, and cranberry juice together in pitcher. Stir until well mixed and then add fresh cranberries... you can also use a muddler to "smash" them up, if you prefer. Place in fridge until ready to serve!
And, for round two, I am telling you a simple white sangria recipe [thanks to my friend Andrea!] that is a crowd favorite... you can mix and match the ingredients as you like, depending on season, preference, etc!
2 cups apple juice
12 oz frozen lemonade
1 bottle dry white wine
10 oz gingerale
Sliced oranges, cranberries, and rosemary for garnish
Pour all ingredients into beverage container and stir together. Repeat as necessary once you need to refill [which is almost certain because it's that good!]
