I know I have been hinting to all of you for a long time that I had something up my sleeve, that I was going back to work, and that it was coming soon. To you, this logo may seem like a small little graphic with no meaning behind it, but for me, it's so much more...
First things first, a little background story to show you how I got to this place, if you will: growing up, I always loved to shop, loved to play dress up, and went nuts to play "store". Fast forward to my 16th birthday and I went out that day and got my very first job...as a retail sales associate at a store at the mall. I was giddy with excitement, as I would be able to get my own cell phone with the money I made, and I could spend my earnings on other things I "needed"...AKA clothes and accessories. As I made my way through college, I had another retail job at The Limited and was a part-time manager during the summers. I loved the clothing business. Though my major was advertising, my heart was always in sales and I knew I wanted to make my way back there someday.
Well, it took a long time to get here (two babies to be exact), but I'm proud to say I am now the owner/operator/shipping clerk/social media expert and every other possible role to an online children's clothing store, otherwise known as Sugar Bit.
A little bit behind the brand, Sugar Bit: I wanted to create an online children's boutique-for newborns through 4-year olds-that offered collections of distinct children’s clothing brands for the sensible shopper, while preserving characteristics synonymous with Southern Hospitality in every aspect of our business. I hope you will come in, take a peak around, and my hope is that you will be able to see the true Southern Hospitality we embody... from the products we carefully hand select to the love and detail we put into each package we ship out. Receiving a package in the mail is something I have always looked forward to, and our promise is to make each and every one special.
We (as in I) explore designers across the country (as well as internationally) selecting high-quality and versatile garments that are truly for any day or occasion. Great style and high-quality clothing shouldn't be hard to find or too expensive.
Here is just a peak at just some of the fun goodies we have in stock and ready to ship
I promise there is so much more to come and I will do my very best to share all the intricate details with you because I'm just giddy with excitement to share. For now, my hope is that you'll discover some fun, fresh new finds for the little ones you love in your life and stop by to check out my little masterpiece that I am oh so proud of.

And PLEASE follow, like, thumbs up, subscribe, and check out our social media accounts:
Audra Wait and Shane Ivey, the masterminds at Noble Sidekick. They comprise our ingenious marketing/branding/advertising team and they have been an absolute joy to work with. I am SO thankful for your time, wisdom, patience, and all your help in getting here. You are a wonderful duo and you have made this process incredibly fun and I am fortunate to get to work with you.
Candice Stevens, my incredible friend and photographer. You have helped me work through the tricky parts of capturing all our inventory and were so patient with me through each step of this launch. I owe you big time and I am indebted to you!
Alex Hudson, our nanny/babysitter/Sugar Bit extraordinaire. You've been with us for a year now and the chaos still ensues. You have been there deep in the trenches with me, helping care for my girls when I have had to travel, work late, and even helping me with the nitty gritty details of launching a business. I hope you know how much our family loves you.
My Family and Friends. What started out as a crazy dream has transpired into something real and you have been instrumental in that process. You've guided, comforted, advised, and given me plenty of well wishes to know that I could do this and to follow my heart and to know that everything will work out. I can't thank you enough for all the support that you have offered and I am forever grateful. (big thanks especially to Mom, Dad, Meg, Bev, Aaron, Andrea, and Lauren)
Jeff, Caroline, and Carson. Last, but certainly not least, I have to thank the three people that comprise my inner circle, my sweet little family, and the reason I get up day in and day out. I wanted to do something special for myself, as well as for my family, but I wanted to show my girls that you can be a mom AND have a career. Jeff, thank you for the unconditional love and support you have provided throughout this endeavor...you have been my biggest champion and the person that has reassured me that no matter what happens, you love me. That's all I need and I love you. To Caroline and Carson, I hope you know I love you the mostest in the whole world, and that my role as mommy will ALWAYS come first.
Thanks so much everyone!!!
