Caroline's Clubhouse "Oh Twodles" Birthday Party

Tuesday, March 25, 2014

Here it is...the super fun post about my best big girl's 2nd birthday party from last weekend. The weather was INCREDIBLE (like 70, no humidity, and sunny) and my sweet Caroline had an absolute ball celebrating with so many of her friends and family...a lucky girl indeed!!
front entrance welcome to cc's clubhouse for guests
love my new little ikea art easel for the girls, too!! mickey and minnie ears for all our guests
 amazing party assistants
the yummy, and oh so cute minnie mouse cake
sweet little party banner...and now you can see the finished product from my first chalk paint project
CC with her Pappy and Papa...those are certainly her favorite buddies
Good friends celebrating our big girl's day!!
close-up shot of the food station...hot diggity dog bar, fruit kabobs,
chips and dip, and other fun fixings

the favor table...personalized mini beach buckets with crayons and coloring books for
the kids and puppy chow mix bags for the adults
the family room decor...paper mache letters and my favorite tissue garland banner
Caroline's good friend Addie Mae and Tami and Brent...such a cute family pic
Adri and Brodie...our favorite little dude!
Little Bit loved celebrating her big sister!!
 Gran and her little Tuttie
 Cousin EC and Aunt Jennifer
 Mimi and Little Bit
so happy we got to see our play group friends!!
 Mimi, Carson, and Alex
This makes my heart happy...these two women shaped me and now are working their magic on my sweet babies...God has been so good to me!
 Mimi and all her girls
Yes, she smiles all the time...except for when you tell her no
Time for the birthday song and cake!! She loved it so much
she asked for more when we stopped singing
She was too busy eating cake...no smiling necessary Caroline
 That's my girl!!
The Cowans came to play, too!!!
Taking her new baby stroller for a ride
Of course she had to show Gran and Papa EVERY gift to get their approval
All kinds of fun birthday goodies!!
And as Pappy would say, the "anchor" gift...her new convertible VW bug to match Mimi's
Trying to teach her how to "drive"
Getting lessons from Daddy AKA safety squad
 Look Mom, No Hands!
Such a fun day...I can't lie though, I am SO happy to be done with parties for a bit. It took a lot out of me to throw back-to-back weekend shindigs and I am still playing catchup. Such a special day celebrating my little lucky baby. Thanks to so many who made it a super dee duper party.

  39. What a fantastic party!! So glad you shared pictures an sources. I couldn't help but notice Caroline's high chair. Did you paint it yourself? What kid of paint did you use? I am planning on painting the high chair I had when I was little for Ellie. I think spray paint will be easiest...what do you recommend? Especially for the tray? I was thinking I would leave it wood.

  40. Such a sweet and fun party theme! Caroline looks adorable! We have that high chair too! I re-finished and painted it for her 1st bday, but she's still so short in it! It's crazy to think how much taller she'll sit up in it in a year's time like C! HBD to C!
