Five on Friday Fun!

Friday, December 6, 2013

I am back for Five on Friday!! It's December, AKA Santa Claus is Coming to Town Month...cue mass hysteria and overwhelming urge to do everything BIG! So let's start this Five on Friday off right...
One. Small Businesses
Did ya'll get a chance to support Small Business Saturday?? I absolutely did, and from the comforts of home...Etsy is one of my favorites for the ability to support so many entrepreneurs and I think a few Christmas gift recipients will be pleased as pie with the goodies I bought, considering they were handmade with lots of love.
Two. Arbonne Skincare
Are ya'll familiar with the Arbonne line? I  was recently introduced to this line via a blogging friend, Holly, and I am so glad she told me all about their incredible products. I used the RE9 Advanced Anti-Aging Line and was able to see a visible difference in my face within days. Anyways, I am always on the hunt for great beauty finds and I couldn't wait to share my experience. A little bit of these items goes a long way, and let's face it, I need all the help I can get trying to undo all those years of sun exposure.
Three. Holiday Shopping
This time last year, I was completely done with my Christmas shopping list...this time around, not so successful. I have been shopping online like a mad woman, trying to get as much done as possible and I am getting close, but still have those little fun finds I still need to stock up on for stockings and such. Then starts the fun process of setting up a wrapping station and getting to business! I'm doing a black, white, green, and red theme this year so fingers crossed the "theme" turns out looking good.
Four. Snow in Nashville
We already had this season's first snowfall last week a few days prior to Thanksgiving and then this week we have endured a sunny and mild 70 degree day, a monsoon rainstorm, and now we're in for another round of winter weather this weekend...I feel sorry for the weather men and women trying to keep up with all this nonsense! Although I can't lie, I'm giddy thinking about the cold winter weather, which is the perfect excuse to get bundled up, drink some hot cocoa, drive around to look at lights, and sing as many Christmas songs as possible!
Five. Christmas PJ Link-Up Reminder
Wanted to make sure I remembered to grab your attention to join in another fun PJ party next Tuesday!! If you don't have minis, feel free to dress up yourself or your four legged friends and join in...they count, too. It's going to be a great time to show off all those adorable red and green (and every color in between) yummies...
Thanks for spending time with me today my friends!! A blessed weekend to each one of you. We will be doing loads and loads of unpacking in the new house and watching endless hours of holiday movies. Make sure to visit my girls AprilChristina, and Darci to see what they have going on today... we thank each of you for your fabulous Five on Friday support! OXOX
