The Ultimate Wedding Week Party…Before the Ceremony

Uncategorized

March 23, 2012

Day #3 of our fun linkup party…I hope you’re enjoying it as much as I am. But, if you’ve missed the first two recaps, here they are: engagement pictures and the rehearsal dinner.
Today’s topic is all about the geting ready before the ceremony shots: The day had finally arrived! After 16 months of planning, it was the day I waited my entire life for, and looking back, it was over with the blink of an eye. Funny how that happens, right?
That morning, my bridesmaids gathered together for a day of primping at the hotel where my “glam team” came to work their magic. This is when we had our photographers and videographers begin their day by capturing the “before” elements, too. It was so fun spending the morning relaxing with my best friends and parents in anticipation for what was about to come. Even better, this is when I was finally able to open my wedding day gift from my groomâ€Ļthe most gorgeous antique diamond earrings! Here is just a sampling of some of my favorite moments from that morning/afternoon:

It was so much fun spending my last few hours as a single lady taking pictures all around Scarritt Bennett enjoying the gorgeous sun we were blessed with that day, hot yes, but pretty nonetheless.

Just a few
miles away, Jeff and the men got ready at our house, complete with a catered BBQ
lunch by local chef Callie McMillin. They got to sit back and relax and then
get dressed in the comfort of home before making their way to the church.

Don’t forget to come back next week for 3 more fun linkups celebrating the wedding ceremony, the reception, and the fun details!
