What I Love Wednesday

Wednesday, September 28, 2011

This week is flying by...it could be the busyness of work, the crisp fall-like mornings that make my commute enjoyable, or because I actually got a full night of sleep, but I am a happy girl today and enjoying anything and everything. This week, I am loving:

I finally get to meet Baby Hudson tomorrow night. Meg and I are bringing dinner and dessert over to the new mama and papa and cannot wait to see their new little bundle ;)
We're getting new arborvite trees to line the side of our driveway...we need added privacy and so Jeff and his cousin will be putting their manpower to work this weekend and getting this knocked out--yay!

Jeff's traveling this week is over and done with! I want that hubby of mine home at night so we can have dinner together and catch up on all our favorite shows
I got my booty up this morning and went to the gym...which makes me feel SO much better as I was having a few "fatso" moments earlier in the week--I can't lie, gaining weight has been really hard for me to cope with
I think I won wife of the year last night by cooking dinner. Some of you tweeted me back to my question of does it really count if it was only Hamburger Helper and salad and thank heavens you said yes--if it's cooked on a stove, it's dinner ;)

I was shopping at Hobby Lobby the other day and saw Christmas decor...yes, a bit early, but I couldn't help be reminded that it's really not that far away. I've already started making our budget and shopping list for our families this year!

So, what are you loving this week??

  1. I completely agree - anything cooked on the stove is definitely dinner. And plus that meal had all of the food groups :) My hubs and I are loving fall TV too - glad yours is back home to enjoy it with you!

Happy Wednesday! XOXO, Stephanie @ Blonde Highlights

  2. Love the trees! Those will be great. And good for you for going to the gym! I've been SUCH a slacker since I got pregnant.

So ready for Christmas! Have a good day :)

  3. We just planted trees like that for added privacy. And by we I mean Preston. :)

I'm right there with you on the gaining weight. I mean of course it's for the best but it doesn't make it any easier.

  4. Love those trees!! And that "Go to the Gym" pillow haha. Love it! MOTIVATION.

  5. We have some pine trees in the back of our house for privacy. They also block out some sound--which is very nice!! :)

  6. Hey girl!! I'm loving the baby updates :) So excited for you!

Tell me! Do you go to the Downtown Y or Green Hills in the morning? I don't know how you have the energy!

  7. he he I recognize that quote I think :)

    Happy Wednesday lovely girl!

  8. I'm loving Dunkin Donuts Pumpkin Spice Coffee.... which I happen to be drinking right now :) Yay!!

  9. Love your loves :)

See all the Christmas decor at Hobby Lobby is making me so excited for Christmas :)

  10. I am so glad my hubby also agrees that hamburger helper totally works for dinner or any meal even! I was also thinking the same thing when I was in Hobby Lobby last week. I'm ready for Christmas too but I'm especially ready for some cooler weather here in Texas!!

  11. That last photo makes me very excited for the holidays! :)

  12. I was shocked yesterday when I went into Target yesterday and saw that they had the ENTIRE Christmas section up and ready to be sold. Really…It's still September…but on the bright side it does gove me a reason to start listening to Christmas music
