{My Funny Valentine}

Monday, February 1, 2010

Yes that's right! Cupid will be sending his love arrows off in less than 2 weeks... can you believe it?? Personally, I think Valentine's Day is a little overrated and you shouldn't wait for 2/14 to tell those closest to you how amazing they are and how much you love them, but I agree--it's nice to get chocolate goodies from your significant other!
Seeing as though we are in the midst of planning a wedding AND furnishing our new home, Valentine's Day has taken a backseat this year to more important things and I am happy because I'm requesting home goodies for our new abode instead of Godiva and a much-needed massage-haha!
But for those of you out there who are wanting some fun V-day gifts, here are some things I think are a must:  {all courtesy of Etsy because at this point, you all have to know I am obsessed}
Opalescent Vintage Jewel Necklace via HurstJewelry
Modern Circles - Personalized Paperweight via Paper and Ink
Royal Blue Teardrop Earrings via Cherry and Violet
Lucy Hostess Apron in Cherry Dot via Bella Style
Alphabet Photo Art via Java Jane Designs
Pink Sugared Marshmallow Whipped Soap via Verbena Custom Blends
Valencia Infused Soy Candle via Sydney Hale
Waffle Weave Robe via Monograms, Markings, and More
And yes, Jeff, you could surprise me with any of these--just in case you think I need a little something special--and I would be ever-so happy =)

  1. I love love love that necklace! I totally agree with you about Valentines Day-- I like to tell my loved ones every day how wonderful I think they are. I don't need a special day to show my love. But then again I do like special surprises....
