It's been over a week since I've returned home from my cruise, and I'm finally having the opportunity to post some of my pictures from the FANASTIC TRIP! For those of you who may not know, the reason for taking the vacation was to celebrate my Grandparent's 50th Wedding Anniversary! What an accomplishment- I'm so honored to be a part of my family and it makes me happy to see just how much they love and honor each other. I'm sure there have been hard times throughout their marriage, but my grandparents have gone through a lot together and I respect them so much for reaching such a huge milestone in their lives- it gives me a lot of strength to know that love like that really exists and makes me hope that I get to experience love like that one day, too!

The Day Had Finally Arrived....

People make fun of me about this and have for some time now, but I can think back to last year when I found out what day the Sex and the City movie would debut and thinking how fabulous it would be and how I'd have to see it immediately. Meg laughed at me and told me she'd join in the fun, too though so I wouldn't be the only crazed fool who was obsessing about the release. I'm an addict of the show and own every episode on DVD, not to mention I watch them on TV late night all the time. I quotes them regularly and even though they are fictional, their triumphs and tragedies seem to remind me (at times) of the people I surround myself with... I'll let you guess who I think you remind me of =)

So last Friday, we all got dressed up and ventured out for our official "Girl's Night Out" to celebrate- there was a group of 8 and then my mom and Bev's mom decided to join us so it was extra special! We started out eating dinner at Rosepepper in East Nashville (very yummy by the way- very decently priced AND pitcheres of mojitos= I WILL BE BACK!) Then we went to Opry Mills where we had already pre-ordered our tickets on Fandango (one of the greatest inventions ever) and got in line. We made sure to get there early so we could get great seats and boy did we! There were 10 of us total and we had so much fun. The movie was EVERYTHING I had hoped it would be and yes I laughed and cried and it was the perfect ending to what is in my opinion, the best show ever created.

P.S. If you haven't seen it, you have to! There were even guys in the movie with their girlfriends, which I thought was very sweet... typical 3rd or 4th date though because they don't know better- haha!

Then afterwards, we headed downtown to meet the boys- I was so impressed that my mom and Bev's mom actually made it out to the bars with us for a late night... they were definitely attracting all the guys that night!
